Your Add-ons, My Site

See that little spot on the right over there, the "Some Ad" section?  I’m not really a big fan of ads, and I don’t want to attempt a monetized blog.  But Chitika looked interesting enough of an alternative to Google Adsense to give it a try.  Afterall, they let me specify the font, which as I’ve explained, is pretty important to me since I’m using the snazzy @font-face feature of CSS3.

But I’m already bored of it and ready to give it the boot.  My secret is that the real reason I put an ad there is because man that space looks vacant without something there.  So, I says to myself: "Self, how about you give that space to third-party developers to advertise their add-ons on a site fairly heavily trafficked by ExpressionEngine and CodeIgniter users?"  Well, self, I don’t see any reason not to.

So, if you have something you’ve developed for ExpressionEngine or CodeIgniter, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), I’ll do a quick quality check, and place you in the queue of randomly served CI and EE community code bits.  I don’t mind if it’s freeware, MIT, GPL, commercial, or whatever.  If it’s decent, I’ll promote it, for free.
